Fast Trade Tips: Finding Early Tokens on Trending 1m

± 3 min read 6 sections 1 image

For those who like fast trades and can't stand holding for days, there's one place on GMGN that's great for finding early tokens: the Trending tab with the 1m filter.

Section 1 / 6
  • With the 1m filter, what shows up are tokens with heavy in the last 1 minute.
  • So it's handy for finding tokens that are just starting to get busy, especially ones that are still new pairs.
  • How you play it is up to you, based on your own playstyle (lesson 3.1).
Section 2 / 6

How to Use It

  1. Open GMGN and pick the Trending tab ①.
  2. Pick the 1m time filter ②.
  3. Look at the 1m Vol column ③: transaction volume in the last 1 minute.
  4. Pick a token you find interesting, then look for a good . Don't buy just because it's at the top.

Heavy Volume ≠ Small Risk

High volume in the first minutes only means "it's busy", not that the is small. Volume can be faked.

  • Fake volume / : compare vs and look at the chart shape. Climbing neatly like a staircase = suspicious (lessons 2.10, 2.12).
  • : lots of buying together in the same block can make the volume look busy (lesson 2.8).
  • Still run the lesson 2.14 checklist before you click Buy.
Section 4 / 6

Combine It with Wallet Tracking

Trending 1m can be used together with wallet tracking (lessons 3.2 and 3.5):

  1. You see an interesting token on Trending 1m.
  2. It turns out a wallet you track bought that token too.
  3. That can be an extra reason to take a look at that token, not a buy signal.
  4. After that, still do further analysis (check Chapter 2, match it to your playstyle). Don't just in blindly.

That's why two people tracking the same wallet can get very different results. What matters most is each person's further analysis and skill.

Section 5 / 6

Fast Trades = Fast Risk Too

  • Getting in and out fast means fees and pile up. Set your fees according to the guide (lesson 1.5): Cheap ~0.0001 SOL, Standard ~0.0005 SOL, Fast ~0.001 SOL or more.
  • Set your and before entry (lesson 3.3).
  • RR matters more than . Winning often but losing big once can still leave you down (lesson 3.3).

Common mistakes

  • Buying just because the token is at the top.
  • Forgetting that fees and slippage pile up when you get in and out fast.
  • Not setting your cut loss and take profit before entry.

Busy tokens make it easy to . Remember, what we're after is the smallest possible risk, not running along out of greed.
